There are multiple online payment methods that a company can use. We have already developed some of the most popular but we are always open to integrating new payment gateways based on our clients’ needs. Contact us to discuss a payment method that best suits your business needs.
Cash payment method - this payment method comes pre-installed and configured but you can change its name (eg. Pay at reception, Pay on arrival etc.) and some of its settings at any time.
When you click on the name to edit this payment you will see the following options:
Name - This is how the payment method selection will appear at the front end booking engine to your customers.
Payment plugin - dropdown with all currently available plugins. Cash payment should be selected here.
Status - dropdown to select Published or Unpublished state for this payment method.
Language - in this dropdown you can select any of your company installed languages to make this payment method available only in this language. This is very useful if you decide to offer Pay at reception (Cash) payment method for just your local customers. Note: if you need to have different Names of your payment method at the front end booking engine then you will have to create one unique Cash payment method with a Name in the chosen language.
Description - in this field, you can add an additional description of the payment method which will show as a tooltip at the front end booking engine when a customer clicks/taps on the payment method’s name.
Configuration tab - this tab will not be available before a New payment method is Saved.
If you edit an existing payment method or Saved a new one you will be able to set additional configuration in this tab.
For Cash payment method the following options are available:
Minimum amount and Maximum amount - these fields are to set at which amount range this payment method will be available eg. if you set Minimum amount to 200 then this payment method will not be shown for orders under 200 and respectively if you set Maximum amount to eg. 1500 the payment method will not show if the order amount is over that limit.
PayPal payment method - this payment method comes pre-installed but it isn’t configured so you need to update the configuration details.
Click on the payment method name to open the edit screen.
Set the language and the Status of the payment method.
Click on the Configuration tab and fill in the following options:
PayPal payment email - type in your PayPal email where you collect payments.
Accept only verified buyers? Yes/No - PayPal allows you to accept payment only from verified buyers (with verified personal details on the PayPal platform). Set this to Yes if you wish to allow only verified buyers to be able to use this payment method.
Merchant Sandbox Email - before you start taking real payments you may wish to test how this payment method works. Enter a Sandbox (test) email address in this field.
Sandbox (test): Yes/No - set to Yes if you would like to test the booking engine with your Sandbox account, set to No to start taking real payments.
Minimum Amount - the minimum order amount that will activate this payment method.
Maximum Amount - the maximum order amount that will activate this payment method.
Fee per transaction - this input box allows you to capture a fixed fee for each payment. This fee will be added to the payable total at the end of the online booking process.

VAT in % - additional field for VAT, works the same way as the Tax field above.
Convert Currency? Yes/No - this option is only used if your local (booking engine) currency is not supported by PayPal. If your local currency is supported by PayPal leave this to No - even if the customer pays with a different PayPal currency balance than yours, PayPal will automatically exchange and transfer the amount in your PayPal available currency balance. If you set this option to Yes (you use an unsupported by PayPal currency) then the total will be converted before sent to PayPal for payment.
Convert To - a dropdown of all PayPal supported currencies. Chose your preferred PayPal balance.
Conversion Index - this is the exchange rate from your website (booking engine) currency to the PayPal balance currency.
Debug? Yes/No - this is a system option that helps or technicians to trace payment problems. Set to Yes only if instructed by any of our technical staff. This option will log the payment transaction response.
Don’t forget to click on Save & Close button when you are done editing.
